The antenna receives most of the civilian navigation satellites (GPS, Galileo, Beidou, Glonass) and derives a reference clock for the receiver from the precise signals (GNSS-DO, GNSS Disciplined Oscillator). This provides a high-precision clock generator, which is useful for precise measurements of the received signal, or for coupling several SDR receivers together.
